SWEET
LOCATION
Situated in the charming town of Mickelton, close to Stratford Upon Avon, Sounding Sweet’s recording facilities offer a close proximity to the Royal Shakespeare Company theatre, with whom we’ve often worked with throughout the years.
Our location in the heart of Warwickshire offers you a convenient way to record VO either on-site or remotely through ISDN or Source Connect.
SWEET
GEAR AND HARDWARE
With a studio ticking all the right boxes in terms of hardware equipment, we can take care of any VO task presented to us, as we have been doing with the hundreds of actors who crossed the doors of our studio.
Using tools such as ISDN or Source Connect, actors can come to our studio while being directed in real-time by directors in London or anywhere else in the world. And for an even better connection between directors and actors, Sounding Sweet is equipped with lightning fast Internet connection, allowing for smooth and trouble-free audiovisual interactions through Skype or any other video chat software, along with the guarantee of extra-fast file transfers once the recording has been completed.
As for the recording itself, we pride ourselves in our large collection of microphones and pre-amps, making sure that we have the right tools for the job, no matter what the job is. Whether you need to record through a combination of lavalier and boom microphones or through one of our large diaphragm condenser microphones, we’ll guarantee you the highest recording quality possible thanks to our MTRX interface used in combination with Pro Tools HDX.
With over 15 years of audio experience on high profile projects, our audio engineers will help your recording session go smoothly and hassle-free.
Along with a high technical proficiency, we are aware of the surroundings of a recording session and will do anything needed to make the actor feel good, be it via offering hot or cold refreshments, food, or simply by having them perform in a friendly and welcoming environment, giving them the opportunity to express their talent to the best of their capacity.
